Polo G released “Deep Wounds” last month and now he’s back with the rest of his debut album Die A Legend.
The project contains 14 songs and features Lil Baby, Gunna, and Lil Tjay leaving Polo G plenty of room to properly introduce himself.
The Chicago artist says this:
“No moe Games…. Da Wait Is Finally Ova🤧🙌🏾. Die A Legend Da Album Droppin June 7th🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾. MY VERY 1ST PROJECT EVA‼️ Gone Shake Da Streets & Turn Up Da Summa Fashoooo🔥🔥🖤 #lemmeknoifyawready #DaHookGod.”
The “Hollywood” rapper took an interview on Vlad TV back in January where he explained the title of his LP. He said:
“I was thinking of the legacy I want to leave basically. I just want everyone to remember me for being great with this music stuff, so I want to die a legend.”
Polo G delivered videos for “Finer Things,”“Pop Out,” “Battle Cry,” and “Deep Wounds” all directed by Ryan Lynch to build anticipation for the LP.
“Pop Out” peaked as high as 27th on Billboard’s Hot 100 chart after its arrival in February. The record’s sequel “Pop Out Again” was created in an effort to replicate the success.
Polo G connected with Genius to break down the lyrics for “Battle Cry” and “Deep Wounds.” The media outlet also examined how “Pop Out” became an instant hit.
